Does anyone know what the deal is with the new SD CARD SLOT on the new 15" Macbook Pros? I know you can put sd cards in it, duh.. the obvious problem is that my duel adapter/P2 card workflow no longer works with the new macbooks (I know I can get the big clunky 17incher) but I was reading some chatter on the web where it could be more than just an SD slot.. meaning an adapter could be made to utilize the new slot.. but does anyone know what the transfer speed is on it? how does it compare to the expressbus/34... I'm trying to look on the positive side of things..

I was going to get a new 15" macbook pro this year, but now I don't know..

It appears that this change is designed to assist those who shoot photographs to SD or SDHC cards.

That's the "deal."
