SHORT: "Macau Sam Assi" , a Comedy Short Film/Musical about Macau

Veteran
A comedy Short Film/Musical about Macau done by the local Theatre Group, Doci Papiaçam di Macau. directed and shot by Sergio Perez (me), written by Miguel de Senna Fernandes, sound mixing and design by Adriano Cardoso and Lighting and Photography by Chan Io Pan and Sergio Perez.

Two old Macanese ladies walk into an old macanese restaurant. As they sit and start to gossip and criticize the local theatre group, "old Macau" and macanese culture, the other costumers have something to say...

Hope you guys like it. This is my latest indie work, outside from my professional TVC shooting.

( Small clarification for the opening 2 jokes: annually the local Macanese (Macau's unique "ethnic" community) theatre group Dóci Papiaçam di Macau stages a show, and its the hot topic for local gossip. APIM is a local non profit macanese association focused on education.)

Hi Sergio. First of all let me tell you I loved your short. The cinematography is great the story and the actors are great. I'd say it was shot with the Canon 7d? I'm contacting you because I'm currently writing a spec script for a TV series about the Asian Film Scene and I'd like to know if you'd be interested in getting interviewed and talking a bit about your work? The production company in charge is based in Macau.

Please contact me and I can give you more info about the project.

Thanks,

Bernardo Rão Vieira
