Mac Pro P2 Card Upload

Is there any way to upload P2 cards right into a Mac Pro, like how you can do with a Powerbook or Macbook Pro? I know the Mac Pro's has 4 PCI Express graphics card slots in the back, but not sure if the P2 cards will go in there or if there is an adapter for it.

Search "Duel Systems Adapter" You'll find what you are looking for. Representative sent me an email today indicating late this month, orders will ship. Well, at least my order anyway...

Oh ya, I was aware of those, I just wasn't sure if it was the same slots (express slots) as on the Macbook Pro's.
Thanks.

This isn't correct. The duel systems adapter is an Express Card 34 device and will not work with a MacPro because there is not EC/34 slot.

There are reports the Specialized Commmunications is working on a PCI adapter for a card bus solution for the MacPro.

Don't expect it soon

You upload P2 cards into a Mac Pro by putting the HVX in 1394 mode and put the camera in PC mode. If you do not want to use the camera, you must use something like P2 Store (with a Mac? I don't use it, so I'm guessing).

The OP asked how to upload P2 cards right into a Mac Pro, not a MacBook Pro.

Ain't possible with the duel systems adapter.

That's what I orginally thought, that you couldn't upload to a mac pro like you can to the laptops.
