Does anyone know the plugin for the Mac to edit Jvc pro hd.

There are no plug ins, but there are some 3rd party applications that allow you to capture 720P24 HDV and convert it to Quicktime for editing in FCP.
If you have FCP5, it can natively handle 720P30 from the JVC camera.
3rd party apps that work with 720P24 are Lumiere HD 1.6b6, and HDVxDV v1.24.
Both of those application cost $$$, but HDVxDV has a demo that will allow you to test the workflow for yourself.
If you want a free solution, you can use the AIC digitizer in FCP or iMovie and then capture audio separately.
You could also use Apple's DVHSCAP to capture the 720P60 stream and then use MPEGSTREAMCLIP to convert it to any quicktime codec you want.
Just search the forums, we've discussed the various options many times and in great detail.

Hmm it seems Lumiere is superior. I must get this program then.
