Not sure if this has been covered but I couldn't find it so here it is.
If you are using a Mac and you are having trouble with the p2 import using FCP getting a message that the clips are incomplete or corrupted.
You need to update QT and FCP to the latest versions. Just because the P2 import option is in FCP doesn't mean it's up to date.
I thought it may be my ibook was the problem as everyone talks about using Power books but it works fine with the updates. Footage runs smooth and import times are fast.
So if you haven't got one yet the iBooks are under 1000 bucks now and work great. I got the bottom of the line model and have no problems. The smallest one I could get because it's easier to haul around. Get one before the run out and all go intel on ya.
