I edited on Premiere Win7 and the sound people use MAC. We need to go back and forth with a common drive. What is the OS that is compatible with Mac? Fat 32? What is the best way to connect to MAC? SATA 2? USB 3? Thank you.
If it were me, I'd send them the Windows standard NTFS formatted drive and make them deal with the fact that they chose an OS that actually creates this type of compatibility issue. But, not everyone's hates Crapple as much as I, so you could probably use a drive formatted as exFAT. This should be compatible with both systems and still allow for files larger than 4GB.
i remember an issue with FAT32 where files bigger than 2GB couldn't be copied to an external drive... i'm a mac user now, so is this still an issue with WIN7?
otherwise: NTFS for Mac plugin (http://macntfs-3g.blogspot.co.at/) i use it everytime if i work together with WIN users, works fine!
