Mac book pro users - important

IMPORTANT for Mac Users. Mac has taken the Express 34 out of the 15" MBP. For pro users this really blows. No audio/video card expandability or esata speed. They took the "pro" out of the 15" MBP. Now you have to lug a 17" to get the feature. If you shoot RED or P2 or work in audio or post, you know how much this sucks. Sign the petition below and pass it on to your production friends to get it back.

They brought FW 400 back to the Macbook after people stood up. We must now.

any "pro" machine. needs "pro" connections. removing the express card slot is a HORRIBLE oversight. i say discontinue the standard macbook line and just offer pro or air models and be done with it.

Signed!

But it leads to a bigger question why is there no adapter for the fw 800 or usb port?

Is it a speed thing? Compatibility?

I got one of the last 15" mbps with an express card. Had my powerbook taken a dump two weeks later than it did, i woudl be screwed.
