Do these have the same type of mount?
I have a mount for a Super Takumar 50mm 1.4. I was wondering if I could use that same mount for a Pentax-M lens? (specifically the 28mm 2.8)

Thanks!

it seems like that thing some people call "Pentax-M" is one of the iterations of the "Pentax-K" mount:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentax_K_mount
"Bodies equipped with the original K mount include the K series, the M series except the ME F, and the LX. Lenses that support it include those labelled 'SMC Pentax', 'SMC Pentax-M' and 'SMC Pentax-A'. These K mount bodies cannot use lenses that lack an aperture ring, such as FAJ or DA."

pentax-K has a &000000000000004546000045.46 mm focal flange distance, and so should work on canon, but not nikon

Thanks man!
say, does anyone know about the known issue of Takumar's hitting the mirror when set to infinity?
Is this only on a full frame sensor? How do you know if you have the problem? I was able to snap away and shoot without any issues.

Thanks!
:)
