So I am coming from Canon to my D600. I love it but i have a lot of left over m42 mount glass. Now i know there are adapters i can get that do not allow infinity focus and i bought a cheapo, it works great. Now i wanted to see if anybody had tested the ones that allow infinity focus. Obviously these are problematic because they have an extra element. I had a similar one to mount FD glass to my EOS system that i bought in my younger days. Turned out to be garbage but fun.

Anybody have any experience with the nikon to m42 adapters with glass that are worth a spit?

thanks guys

I've been using the Fotodiox with infinity element on my d800. Has been working like a charm with my m42 lenses.

well thats great news. I think its time to buy that photodiox. Normally i go for the cheapest one i can but since this has glass its defiantly worth the extra money i think.

Don't get the ebay ones, the one I bought had an element that was just a cloud of bubbles, the resulting images were as soft as a vaseline lens.
