Are M2TS files (copied and stored to my PC via AVCCAM softare) the same as MTS files (the designation given to the files on the SD card) in regards to archiving footage for future post production work? I am running out of digital storage space and was contemplating deleting the MTS files and just saving their M2TS (AVC) copies. Thanks.
