M267 Mixer on 100A

I'm trying to mix through a Shure M267 into a DVX-100A. I equalized the levels of on the mixer output to the DVX's input so that they both zero out on the tone.

However, once I try to record dialogue there is a huge disparity between the two. Audio that barely registers on the mixer is way into the red on the DVX.

Is my mixer broken or is there something I'm not thinking of?

Input settings maybe?

Just throwin it out there incase you might have missed it...I know I would miss it.

I've never liked the VU meter on the M267--it always seems to barely read anything for me. I don't even look at the thing anymore, really. I'd say just ignore it and do what you need to to get the camera audio where you want it.

The DVX is set to line input (although I've tried MIC out on the mixer and MIC in on the DVX as well).

The DVX is set to 16-bit audio and the ALC is off.
