M2 External Test - DVX

Some outside testing with M2

DVX100a + M2 + Nikkor 50mm 1.2
We shot at 2.8 with a .3, .6, .9 ND filter with a mattebox
Some slight MB CC but nothing crazy.
Looks a lot better on a production monitor

A Little too soft for my taste overall... maybe it's the mb.

Watching this again I am sure that my back focus was off. This makes everything a little soft. I wasn't using a production monitor during production (mistake) and I didn't think to check the focus.

Good mistakes to make on a test, definitely have to keep checking the back focus for the shoot. We have a monitor and a focus chart for the shoot though.

The softness may also be due to compression.
So you did not do any CC on this, right?
