M2 - DVX100B - Blurry Edges

Hi all,

Apologies if there is something mentioned on this in another thread. If there is I'd appreciate the link.

I've got an M2 adapter on my 100B and am having difficulty in fine tunning the focus in the edges. See image below:

I have a Nikkor 50mm 1.8 attached to the front. The shot above was taken wide open.

Has anyone else seen this type of issue? Any ideas on whether it's the M2 or the lens that might be causing the problem?

Is the M2 set up in such a way that the distance numbers on the lens are accurate?
If not, maybe you could zoom in on the image a little more to cut of the vignetting.
WE recently shot with the M2 and had a similar problem and eneded up inverting the ground glass disc and all our problems were solved.

i have a tiny bit of loss of focus on the edges, but not this drastic at all, and Not distorted in 1 bit. So this must be something to do with an inverted something or other, a legitimate problem,
