M2 adapter + HVX200 clip

holy christ that footage looks good. even after been compressed twice. unfortunately i blew all my money on the hvx itself. the m2, a flippy monitor, and slr lenses will have to come later.
 
Hmm, doesn't look very sharp to me...at all. Maybe they had it calibrated wrong?

The G35 looks better to me:grin:
 
And about the noise issue...native compression artifacts and that's stuff -- sorry but I'm out @broadband (I'm @dial-up for awhile). Have you notice?

Well it looks pretty grainless to me, but it's also only 640x360

In fact, I just posted here where the general idea is the same as yours. So, we must wait for the Jonathan's footage to decide a purchase or not (plus a hands-on approach in my case, of course) but I'm asking if G35 will it be the HVX redemption (?)...
 
Yes it does look soft.

As far as noise, not really any, all I see is very compressed web ready image.
 
its hard to judge with it compressed so much and the viewing size reduced so much... im sure with static adapters you will be able to see the grain more than any other adapter since the resolution of the camera is so good... but its hard to say until you see a fully uncompressed video with its native size.
