I think M. Night better come out swinging with this film. I loved Sixth Sense, Unbreakable. I did not like Signs or The Village.
This man has the keys to the kingdom and so far he's 50/50. If this film doesn't do well, how soon before Warner Bros change the locks?
Thanks
The problem with the later films (and don't get me wrong; I liked "Signs" a lot -- it's rare you get that kind of raw tension in a movie these days) is that he seems to want more and more to EXPLAIN things through exposition. Poignant moments in both "Signs" and "The Village" were ruined because it wasn't enough just to reveal it -- no, he had to yap about it for a while, too.
