I'm getting ready to buy an M audio delta 44 soundcard, and my friend said to find out if its compatible with cs5 (premiere and AE) and my Motherboard (Asus P6TSE Core i7) Anybody running this set up or know if there will be compatibility issues? Do they play well together?

Would really luv to know so i can go ahead and order.

I've run a few different Delta cards, though never the 44. M-Audio's PCI cards tend to be much better than their USB/Firewire cards. Check the M-Audio website to be sure they have drivers for your OS, they've been rather slow about releasing 64bit drivers. If there's a driver, you should be just fine.

also consider an outboard solution. You can get a firewire or usb interface and use it as a sound card but also for laptop recording.
Soundwise, one of the best sounding and cheapest solutions is the USB Musiland US. It has a headphone output and ASIO drivers. They run about $75.

thanks fellas. checked the site and they have a 64 bit driver for Vista 64 bit (which is what i have). Just need to know if my mobo is fine ...it should be though.

I haven't used that particular motherboard, but pretty much all the boxes I've used Delta gear in have had Asus motherboards with a variety of chipsets. I wouldn't expect any troubles.
