A Division of Avid now... M-Audio... And I own Delta 1010lt (really nice sound card with lots of I/O). Been having it for 3 years atleast. So last 3 years I had to settle for Adobe Premiere and when i can stand it, editing on FCP on the powerbook G4. Now i got the intel core duo setup upgraded and great graphics but still loving my Delta. I dont want to get rid of it but i want to go back to Avid bad. I need it!

Does anyone know of anything I can do? Driver update or something? I already checked with M-Audio's site but no new driver or anything out.

PS: Just to let you know, its an audio issue cause everything works when I install but audio, so usually it will just freeze frame and do nothing when i play a clip. I can scrub the video though.

Thanks for linkin me to the work around. I will try this ASAP. Thank god i can finally get my money out of damn avid.

I have found working way around these issues to be better than force-feeding an avid product. That can blow up in a brother's face with the client waitin' and that aint good.
Lee, I'd start venturing away from Avid if I were you. Your work flow in no way requires it and every product has been and will continue to grow while sales directors continue to be product managers at Avid. Lean that FCP system of yours, man. You'll get alot of gigs from it.

I have a delta 66 and a audiophlie192 and they both stopped being read by Avid for no apparant reason. I had to install a creative soundblaster to keep working. Hope that link has some good news because I can't use my mixing board anymore.

Well I'll be darn, that sh!t worked. I just made the soundblaster the recording card instead of the built in and restarted avid and it works now through the M-Audio card.

Well dayum... lol, still didn't try it.

But yeah grinner, i want to eventually get a banging mac pro but i just upgraded the pc to a fast ass machine for real cheap, since im a computer builder too... So i gotta stick with the pc side.

My final cut pro is on the mac and dont know why but i cant find myself to edit full projects on it cause i hate that little laptop after a few hours lol.

But i still find good use for it and sometimes make quick stuff in motion. Im using the adobe bundle right now for almost everything and its working, but damn i sware if there is a day that i dont curse at premiere or any windows program for that matter (except avid, it always used to be perfect all day) then that must mean im dead!

Works w/ Avid Free DV

Works w/ Avid Free DV

It works.

A friend of mine just bought the Delta 1010LT card and couldn't get it to work w/ his Avid. I did a bit of searching on Google, I found this site and saw the link to the workaround.

Tried it... and now his system is good to go.

I just tested bars/tone/slate. I didn't benchmark any video playback.

I did have a few problems finding the workaround so I'm going to type some keywords down here for Google to cache this page a little better.

Maybe it will help others find the solution a little quicker than it took me.

- Avid 1010LT Sound Problem
- Avid 1010LT Sound Configuration
- Can't get Avid to recognize my delta card
- Can't playback audio on Avid with my Delta 1010LT sound card

Please forgive me for the strange first time post. I am just trying to help others like you guys helped my buddy.

Thanks everybody!
