Luxury Home Tour-

Nice - perfect timing for me, I just got back from meeting with a morgage broker (looking into buying our first home).
You made that place look really nice...
The timing on the VO was a bit weird sometimes...some longer lags than I expected.
But other than that, it looks (and sounds) good.

By the way - I used that same piece of music on a corporate piece I did about a year ago - did you get it off freeplaymusic?

(can't remember the name of that song for the life of me....damn)

Edited to add:
Appalachian Sunrise, that was it!
:)
You know you've been doin this too long when you can remember corporate music titles.

Thanks. I'm still playing a little with the timing of the VO. But it is 99% done.

Tell him what he has won Johny ...

Nicely done. You are correct. I like Freeplay for the ease of use, and low fees. Most of the stuff, like all canned music, is garbage, but they do have some tracks that will work. And they are getting better.

I completely agree. I guy I work with turned me on to that site a while back and I've been using it almost exclusively for all my corporate stuff. I haven't had any complaints of anything sounding 'canned' just yet.

Nice job - and great taste in music

Looks nice. Good work! Many of the panning shots weren't smooth, but not too noticeable... I think the most noticeable one was on your crane shot in the bushes... looks like you might have just got snagged on a branch though. Maybe a light wide angle lens would give you a bit more feeling of size on your outdoor shots.

Also, your site is ginormous! 984 pixels wide?! I still know a lot of consumers running 800x600 screen resolution. Anyway, looks good overall.

I'm still mastering panning in 24p it is tougher then I had thought when there is nothing that I'm following in the frame. Got to slow those pans down.

I think a wide angle would help in general with all of the shots- as conveying size is important. I'll have to use one on the next shoot.

Yeah, I'm going to shrink it down some, to make it more user friendly ...

Nice work. As you already know, some of the pans were a little too fast but I'm sure you had to fit a lot in.....in a small amount of time. There were times I wished the lighting had been better...most noticable was the wine....that could just be due to the compression for web. I really liked the narrator....a local hire?

And lastly....freeplaymusic.com is a great place for music but as for the price, well that depends on your distribution amount and how long the music is. If you plan on doing a film with a large sale distribution then you'd be better off with something like sound-ideas. Pay once for the rights and do whatever you please with as many copies as you want. Remember....BMI is watching.
