This might be a stupid question, but can anyone tell me if the lux rating of f8 at 2000 lux would be the same in both HD and SD? Or can the it be different in SD than what it is for HD? I hate to take a hit in sensitivity from my DVX.
If you are only going to shoot SD, why not stick with the DVX? If HD matters, then you need to be OK with the lux rating. It's not going to get any better.

Because if I can shoot SD onto a P2 card without worrying about dropouts, head alignment, ease of editing, and the many other benifits extended by recording P2 I myself would rather shoot with the HVX200 in SD using P2.
