I'm trying to get a match between a new Sony FX9 and Sony FS7 in Cine EI for burning in or for Post on multi cams. I found I get an almost perfect match by loading the Sony s709 Venice LUT into the FS7 then white balancing the FX9 with its s709 LUT through a light green gel (1/8-1/4G) . However the gamma crossover on the FS7 also looks a little higher.
I want to use LUTCalc to modify the Sony LUT in my FS7 to match the FX9 a little closer since you can't import user LUT's into the FX9.
It looks easy to add a bit of green to the Sony LUT but I don't see an adjustment for the gamma crossover point. Any suggestions for how to do that?
Also in adding a touch of green do you suggest I click on advanced and click to daylight, or just leave it alone.
I sent this as a private to Ben Turley but why not post the question here as well.
I'm not as used to Resolve but that would be my next route.
