I am honored that Spider Man getting arrested somehow reminds you of me. Truly I am doing something correct then.

I am more glad not to be in LA for the fun radiation cloud that the government says isn't happening yet all jet stream data shows is. I love LA, but I suddenly find being on the east coast less... canceristic. :Drogar-Mark-12(DBG)

I can see the headlines:

"SPIDEY ARRESTED IN LA! CITY FALLS INTO CHAOS AS CRIME RATES SOAR AND NUCLEAR CLOUD OF RADIOACTIVE WASTE APPROACHES!"

Or the Daily Bugle version by J Jonah Jameson:
"CITY FINALLY SAVED FROM THE WEBBED MENACE! BUT THE HATTED MENACE BLACKOUT STILL AT LARGE, SPOTTED ON DVX FORUMS!"

LA cops have no sense of humour.

The dress up and character impersonator racket is taken VERY seriously there, and people go crazy and sue each other and have territorial pissing fights... I saw a pretty fascinating documentary on it a while back I can't recall the name right now but it was about a Superman impersonator who's entire life was based on doing that.

Do you have a source? I live in LA and its been raining for days.

I don't want to make you paranoid or anything as that's always useless but I would not stand in nor drink that water.... now that's just cause LA has its polluted skies to begin with.. but the take is that it is very possible the radioactive float will reach California because of the jet stream. No one truly knows the truth of exactly how bad the situation with the reactors are - Of course government won't tell truthful information and say it's all under control but a few people have set up some radiation detection sites:

As far as of now radiation levels seem to be normal just a tad higher but not dangerous, but people are buying up large amounts of some sort of thyroid radiation protection element... selenium? I'm not positive... but I've got some pretty paranoid friends in LA asking if they can come stay in NYC if the Japan reactors have melt down - but if that happens I don't think anywheres going to be completely good.

If only they would let Spider Man go, he could web sling the reactor cores out.... Damn the LA police...

It reached all Europe too, but not on dangerous levels; supposely. I guess Spidey wasn´t able to shut up his big mouth :D

Yeah, Scotland reported radiation increase this morning - New York's next...Ha! Don't think you can escape my evil plans for world domination that easily Blackout!

@Lucas - Stand in line.. I already have world domination plans in full effect. Have you not felt the blast of the hat power?

@Jester - I agree it's useless to worry about it, worry in any form is fairly useless. It is not useless to be aware of it however. Radiation can be some serious ****... it's not like secondhand smoke that you can smell or see even if it's light and fluff off with your hand. You won't know it if you're being microwaved until it's too late to do anything about it.People who were very very very far away from the chernobyl disaster had serious radiation effects that developed in them and their children years later.

So yeah don't have a panic attack or anything but I think citizens running their own tests is a good thing. If you think you're government is ever going to tell you the truth about anything then I'll bet you're still waiting for the tooth fairy to start leaving money under your kids pillows instead of you. ;)

Have we not learned that nuclear power plants are a real *****? All this great energy but no way EVER to shut them down safely without turning everyone within several thousand miles into gremlins...

Anyway lets get back to what this forum and this thread is about - Spider Man.

Little known fact - Peter Parker shoots himself web slinging with a hacked GH13.

What happended to the reports about the faulty coolant and design flaws in the reactors. I've been reading as much as I can since you posted.

This is the most bizarre and awesome thread I have seen on DVXUser. I am still trying to decide if I really want to click the link to that picture...

There's too much cheese on my Cheetos puffs!!

All the health food stores here are sold out of potassium iodide and kelp. As radiation continues to be detected on the West coast. Remember Akira Kurosawa's DREAMS has six nuclear reactors explode and ends with a man pointlessly trying to fend off radiation from attacking his family.

That Spiderman in the photo apparently punched a tourist or passerby. I used to live in that area, and saw a few superheroes fighting themselves ie dopplegangers , over panhandle territory! The only thing I never saw was Charlie Chaplin fighting with Charlie Chaplin.

The documentary about Spidey impersonators was " Confessions of a Superhero "

Radiation is always around us, it's just a matter of dosage. I wouldn't worry too much for LA...for now. But there's a severe threat in Japan and the true dimension of this is yet to be realized.
It's sad that the monstrous risk of nuclear power isn't a global discussion. In Germany there's a heavy discussion since decades and with the tragedy in Fukushima people weren't willing to take it anymore. Pressure on government was too high, the 8 oldest nuclear power stations have been shut down now and Germany will completely abandon nuclear power within the next 10-15years and expand renewable energy technology.
It makes me angry to realize that in most other countries this isn't even a topic.

It doesn't take an earthquake, a highjacked airplane can do that as well.

Sorry for the off-topic rant.

I agree With you BlaCKOUT. I think it's potassium that your thinking of. Although Your correct about cesium, in that many european countries use it with great success to cure cancer. Yes I did say CURE. In fact it kills the cells so fast, it can be damaging to the rest of your body. So it has to be done slowly, along with some other natural elements.

Cancer thrives on sugar, so it's advised to cut sugar from your diet. Blue berries, are also not advised to eat while treating, or curing cancer. The antioxidents are so powerful, that they actually protect the cancer as well. The antioxidents don't discriminate, they protect all cells. even Cancer. Collodial silver, along with oxone treatment have had great success as well. The extra molecule in the oxygen, which makes it o3. Kills any and all virus, bacteria, and even us. We can only tolerate this pure oxygen in VERY small levels. This is the same as the ozone layer. When lightening, or the suns radiation split oxygen, the single cells combine with double cells, making o3, which is simply ozone. It's heavier than o2. Thus being pulled by gravity, in which it splits, and starts the process all over. This is why the ozone layer is high up in the atmosphere. Kind of hard to explain without getting in to silly details.

Anyways, the radiation, has been registering on the East coast as well. Found in MA. water. Of course they say small amounts, but comming from a gov, that lied to take us to war. It seems much of what they say is not the truth. And no, im not antigov. I pay my taxes, and I vote, well usually, and I even have a few friends that are politicians. But there's still many things they say I find to be untrue. I still believe we have a great country, but it's on the brink. And becoming further and further away from being what it was founded on.

OH well, Anyways, I like what Blackoput has to say, and I follow many threads and posts that he writes. He's a standup guy, that says it how it is. No sugar coating with him. And most of all he does it with humor. So thanks Blackout. Keep writing bro!!
