As you can see from my signature I manage amongst other people Northwest Stock Footage the only Stock Footage company to be in the Northwest and have the largest collection of the Northwest than anyone else.

Stock footage takes a very long time to collect and we should be up and running in a year. But in anticipation I have been sending a promotional package to many interested clients anticipating our release.
The following video is our winter 05-06 Demo Reel, yes I know there is no money shot of downtown Seattle, thats because 90% of the clients that have asked us for demo reels have been looking for other things.

So without further wait, this is the Demo Reel first of many probably to post, but this is the first public post.

Wow thats probably some of the best footage I have seen posted on here, you really have an eye for composition and cinematography. Keep up the good work.

Cool... just a question regarding Stock Footage. What is the typical usage of it? (clients, how it's used, etc...) I've always been curious of that. I'm familiar with stock photography.

My fav. parts, the slow motion snow falling part, and that "fly thru" style shot (for my lack of the proper term) in the Plaza. How did you do that one?
Also I like all the time laps/city in motion stuff.

Well this question is probably the hardest to answer, stock footage is what you make it. You pretty advocate things for yourself. I market to pretty much anyone, we havent gone public yet so only a few companies are involved with us now. Some other stock footage companies, and a couple tourism places that have show alot of interest. That fly through shot was done on an escalator.

Until you mentioned it, I didnt' even think of the escelator. It looked almost like a crane shot or something to me. As the other user said, great composition. Great job, and best of luck to your business!

shutter is 1/4 and I filmed for 10 minutes, then slowed it down to 30 seconds in post.

uhh..are you talking about the slow motion snow??

if you're not talking about that, how did you get the slow mo so good?? haha

an I idea Ive always wanted to do if I was ever gonna go to denmark is postion the camera in front of the roundtower and have the cars zooming around in the lower 3rd of the screen with the tower framed in the shot.
 
yeah, that slow motion shot of the snow falling was money. :) There are some nice shots there. Very enjoyable.
