for those lucky enough to have the HVX right now, i have a question.
i played with the hvx at a local rental house for about 10 mins during a visit last week,
i noticed that in 1080 or 720 24p it was displayed 16x9 in the lcd display(black bars on top and bottom of screen)
is there a way you can get tv safe frame lines on the lcd display?
i wanna shoot in 720 24p for the different frame rates but i have to deliver the final product in SD, i know when i shoot the varicam it generates frame lines in the viewfinder.
just wondering if the HVX200 can do the same?

thanks in advance!

Yes there is a 4X3 marker display setting for that.
