hmm I don't know what to think? Is this real, something that iis actually happening? Or some prank to piss people off? I mean I understand why lucas would have the motive to do it...but I also don't don't understand why he would do it.


I find it kinda interesting...yet it pisses me off at the same time...so I don't know what to think. I grew up with the new star wars...so unlike so many that hate the new trilogy...I have always liked it. But I don't think its fair to the people that grew up with the older star wars..and have it changed like this.

This is as stupid as Greedo shooting first. *sigh* It's just sad what he's doing. I wish we could get a DVD box set of the ORIGINAL STAR WARS, without all this added in crap.

I honestly think that even if everybody in the entire world signed that, he'd still release his new edits. I mean, the man has so much money that I think he is doing it simply because he thinks this is right and doesn't care how much money he gets.

I think the only thing that would change his mind is Kurosawa coming from the grave in a dream and saying " What the hell are you doing, Lucas? Stop now...."

The man's ego is way to big for him to listen to us. If he was a true artist he would allow someone else to direct the first 3 eps like 4,5, and 6. Lucas is not a director

At this point I wouldn't be able to direct an epic like star wars. Very few directors could. I think thats the point right?

Well, that sinks it. Lucas gets no more of my money.

The guy has lost his sanity. Remember when he started blaming the audience for not simply adoring what turned out to be the first of a serial of sucky movies? I can't even remember the episode, I've blanked it out of my mind. What movie came after those goddamn Ewoks?

true that he wont change the edits but i'd say we owe it to everyone to make as loud a noise as possible right?

It only takes a few minutes, sign the petition and get even 1 opther friend to as well.

How in the HELL! Who changes such an emormous film?? Why wouldn't he just leave it alone, and get an actor for 3, who looks half like Hayden and half like Shaw, so by the 4th movie, he's grown into Shaw??

Wow...I'm still thinking this has got to be a hoax.

Dudes.

Im telling you. They (Steve and George) are so gonna screw up INDY 4 its not even funny. Wait and see. Im almost afraid. They need to let my ass direct it and take it back to its roots (RAIDERS) but they wont. It will be campy, hokey, unrealistic and just embarrassing.

I thinks its that lucas had such enormous success with Star Wars and hasn't made anything even close since, that he can't face it leave praise Star Wars has offered. Where someone else finishes a film, Star Wars will never be done for him.

He has nothing else...
