EDIT: Asking $1500
This is my LTM 1200 CinePar. Bought it off of ebay a year or two ago. Worked fine for a while, then had an issue where it turned off. I sent the head in for service at Galaxy Repair in LA, it came back fine, but now I'm sure the ballast needs some work - essentially, the light will fire with the ballast, but in about five minutes the ballast trips the circuit, on a clean 15amp circuit.
Keep that in mind, but for the price this is still a great deal.
Included:
*LTM 1200w CinePar head fixture (converted for use with Strand ballasts)
*Head Cable
*Desisti DEB 575/1200 Electronic ballast (needs repair, see below)
*barn doors
* (4) lenses, from clear to stiffle (3 of these are brand new)
*Bulb, with about 80% life left, according to Galaxy Repair Service
The head (light fixture) was recently serviced by Galaxy Repair Service in LA, but the ballast needs to be serviced before use. The ballast will run the light for about five minutes before tripping the circuit (tested on a 15 amp circuit with no other devices attached). It needs to be serviced.
A new LTM Cinepar will run you over $3,000 not including a ballast, bulb, lenses, barndoors, or head cable. So, even though the ballast needs servicing, this is a steal of a deal!
