I'm new to this board so if I'm in the wrong section please let me know. Does anyone have any experience with the Panasonic LQ-DRM200 DVD deck? Saw one at a commercial copy house the other day and the guy's telling me he can record up to a 4 hour DVD on DVD-R media !! Unfortunately, this guy knows zero about computers or NLE's so he couldn't answer my question, so ... does anyone know what this unit is really capable of and whether it will operate correctly from within Liquid Edition 5.5? It has a firewire connection and I know that a firewire port on the computer should technically communicate fine with the firewire port on the deck but there is a question as to whether the NLE will correctly communicate with the deck? Anyway, any help or insight would be appreciated.
