Lower Weight Tripod For Run/Gun

I currently have some pretty beefy Cartoni sticks with a Bogan 516 head which is very heavy as well and not practical to go shooting around town, in the city, etc. My AF100 outside barely weighs 3lbs with a simple Nikon lens on it. I need to get a lighter tripod that would let me stay outside longer without needing Mr. Universe biceps. However, I realize this can risk the camera tipping over and I would need to keep an eye on the thing, but I never plan on stepping away from the tripod ever (even with a heavy tripod). The most I would do is change lenses.

Does anyone have a decent suggestion that they have used before? I would like to get something that lets me remove the camera quickly, and that is proving harder to find.

i use the miller ds20 tripod with carbon fiber legs. light, sturdy, not overly priced. i recommend it.
