lower 3rd?

[bilgami]

im trying to edit in a lower 3rd with matte key and alpha into my axp? the lower third comes in the time line but the graphic looks fuzzy and has black all around the only thing i can put is a title with black on top and the lower 3rd at the bottom. what i want to accomplish is a video back ground with title and lower third? how do i get this to work?

thanks
