No word of a lie... this was used on one short shoot.
Its in perfect condition. It was bought in late August of this year... I still have the receipt, and all the manuals, paperwork that came with the kit.
While the lights aren't the absolute best out there - definitely a few threads on this - I still think over all, it's a good all around package... Nice and compact... EVERYTHING fits in the the sturdy hard-case, which is pretty small...and saves a lot of headaches during transport. Much much better than trying to transport a bunch of different lights, especially on a shoe-string budget.
The reason for selling this: I am not a DOP, but I had been doing my own DOP work for my various projects... I finally decided to upgrade and get some pro lights...however, soon afterword, I've formed a collective with a DOP, who has his own lighting equipment, and since then, I've had no need for my kit...
Again, I'm not trying to pass this off as one of the best lighting kits out there - based on most expert opinions, it is not...but it is still pretty good, providing four different lights, gels, screens, etc., While not the sturdiest stands I've ever used, I was expecting them to be way more wobbly then they actually were, based on what I'd read. All of that, combined with the added luxury of fitting into one compact carrying case, I think its a pretty good option...especially for DIY'ers working on shoe-string budgets...
I'm asking for $1400 OBO, which is over $400 less than buying it new at most places in GTA. That price is negotiable.
