Hello.
I'm new to this site and the DVX-100B camera as well. I bought this used and shot some great outdoor footage with it. I mainly bought this to use for weddings and ended up with a lot of dark footage filming a wedding, reception/party. I shot with a variable light on the camera (50-100W) and still had some dark issues at times. I would like to use it more but now afraid to. It took a lot of extra work in editing to brighten up but still had noisy scenes. I originally shot in 60I and rode the iris, gain.
Someone said to maybe try shooting in 30P & 30FPS. I would love to try this some more and looking for suggestions. Specially when shooting a ceremony with typical low light in the church. For now I will stick with my GL2's.
Has anybody else out there shot a wedding with the 100B?
