Now that I'm starting to learn how to use this beast, I'm figuring out that low light isn't that much of a problem, 4 60watt bulbs in a pitch black garage...I like to shoot-em befor I drink-em! enjoy this sad clip. right click and save me!

what did you figure out? please enlighten the rest of us that havent concured the beast completely yet.

Perhaps the last shot that when it comes back into focus, you reveal a few crushed cans on the floor, on their side, then the camera falls to the ground, on it's side. :D Seriously, looks clean for low light my a@*!!!

You need to edit out the -G- and- H-.
Then you get wat you see: you remain sober drinking low lite beer. my a@*$

I'm pretty sure the HVX's issue is not so much low light but low contrast. Nice footage, was it all handheld or did you have some kind of dolly contraption?

Errhhh....hmmm....OK?

What were you showing us? If it was a faux product shoot....it did not work. You did not light the cans. In the first two shots, everything was lit but the cans. Perhaps you were just showing us that 4 60-watt lamps could provide basic illumination. Ok, they can. Now that tough part...try illuminating a subject for meaning and purpose with shadows placed for dramatic emphasis.

The last 2 or 3 shots was just general broad lighting...no lighting control what-so-ever.

The song sucked...I mean really. But that is just me. Work on controlling the lighting and modifying its placement.

Good luck and thank for posting.

Funny you asked, I took the bottom off my rolling trash can, screwed some wood to it to bring the camera closer to the ground, put a 5 gal. paint can on it and started rolling. Not the smoothest but I didn't think it turned out too bad.

Waiting for someone to complain about the song...
There you go.:)

Che, actually I was not really trying to make something great, just showing people what footage looks like with very little light, this is something I see asked a lot on this site.

I would be interested to hear your settings.

Cine-v master ped -10 that's it.
