For the first time in 17 months (when my son was born), I am sitting in my house in complete silence. The wife and kid are out for the evening.
I was planning on practicing some white balance techniques, but now I am hearing a very low hum coming from the front of the camera. It is not when the zoom is pressed. It is just a low hum/mechanical noise. I kind of stays for 10 seconds, then stops, then comes back, over and over. You would never hear it normally, only in complete silence. My camera has close to 300 hours on it.
I don't know if this is a concern and if I should send it for a possible repair. Anybody have a similar "problem"?
