MUSIC VIDEO: Low Budget / No Budget (+ free wine!)

A video I just finished, made with a Canon 5D + a tripod + After Effects, not going to win any awards but I enjoyed the process plus the band gave me a bottle of wine ! (which I poured down my neck resulting in a sense that I could play the piano).

I really like it! I think the first shot should change a bit quicker to show more pace and variation in this video. Got a little bit bored, but there are some great shots afterwards.

Are the AE comps fresh creations or presets?
Did you film band in studio with green screen?
What light set-up did you have?
How long did the AE take?

Agreed, if the deadline hadn't loomed up so quickly and I had more time that is the first thing I would work on more.

Not entirely sure what this question means, can you get presets in AE? What do they do ?

Did you film band in studio with green screen?

Filmed them in my front room against some black paper.

What light set-up did you have?

2 builders lamps (around £10/$15 each), one off the left rear, one as a general fill.

How long did the AE take?

Not sure just did it whenever I got the chance, a few evenings spread over three or four weeks.

You really shot in your front room with black paper?? And just keyed the black out? Or did the opacity help when compositing and you didn't key?

I meant presets as in did you get the graphics from somewhere? Did someone else create them already, or did you create all the graphics yourself? Talk us through it....

I mean the hand graphics where there are things in their hands are really cool. Did you storyboard that or have the graphics first? Whatever, tell the story
