It is amazing what 60P will do to anyone... I am pitching a video to a couple bands now that would be shot in 1000P so... we'll see how that goes!

Hey Ash,

Great video. It looks like you guys shot this in Tulsa (I'm pretty sure I see the BOk building and the oil refineries on the west side of the Arkansas). If so, are you located in Tulsa?

Edit: I did some internet snooping (I hope you don't mind), and realized that you and I go to the same movie maker's meeting at the Circle. Small world.

Ah, Phantom, 10,000 frames HD.. gotcha.. the tech on our job said it lost quality when it when 10,000, so I guess thats what he meant..

I am a newbie, what do you mean by sayin "the sound at 250%" ?
Thanks!

Watch carefully the parts where you can easily see the singer's lips. Notice how everything is in slow motion except for his lips. The way to accomplish this is to have the performer "mouth" the words faster when shooting, then slow the footage down in post. So the performer was "mouthing" the words 250% faster than normal when shooting. If you took the video and restored it to a natural motion speed, you would see that he's mouthing the words relatively quickly. I've over-explained this, but I hope this helps.

Since the HVX shoots 60P, I didnt even have to slow it down in post. Just dropped the 60P footage in a 24P timeline and, voila... pretty close sync.
