We have started putting up our feature film "Low Budget" in abridged online episodes at:

http://www.LowBudgetComedy.com

The film is a comedy about the world of indie filmmaking and follows the LA filmmakers as they fund their science-fiction epic by doing a Canadian travel show. Let me know what you think.

Absolutely hilarious! Very pro done. Superb editing!!!! really moves along with very nice background music touches. Our two main actors really nail the over-reaching moron filmmaker personality...yet you cheer for them... even though they're idiots... they're loveable idiots. Can't wait to see more!!!

Thanks!

Thanks FrankC, that's a nice comment about the film. We've actually just put up episode three on the site.

OMG. "They gave us $100,000 for a travel show, let's say we shoot it on $5000 and save the left over money for Invasion." What the hell, are you guys spying on me? LOL. I love "It's not personal, it's your fight." That had me dying, that and G-Dawg. And Seamus was incredibly close to a DP my producer hired for his film same accent and everything.

Thanks Nate! Yeah, now that I've been working in LA for a few years, I can see how close this film is to reality out here.

By the way, do you have a trailer for your film or some clips? It looks cool from your posters.

Thanks for all the great feedback everyone! For anyone who uses Miro for your podcast listening, we've posted the show on there and it is currently the #3 podcast on Miro. So you can subscribe to it directly on http://www.miroguide.com or on iTunes.

Also, I just watched "The Big Picture", it's a great 80s film for anyone who likes films about the industry: http://www.lowbudgetcomedy.com/1/post/2009/04/the-big-picture.html

I love this thing. I hope you bring Mandy back. She was hilarious. "Boy...George...". The irony here is you have to be a pretty good actress to play such a bad actress. LOL.

-Nate

:) she is a hilarious actress. Actors have always told me they love the "Boy.. George" "It's how I felt in the moment" lines.

Do you guys think it's best to put the latest episode on the front page player, or the first episode as the default? it's a vimeo "Album" player, so you can watch all the episodes in the one player, but you can set the order they show up in.

I guess if I put the first episode, it's better for newcomers to the series, but the latest episode is best for the fans.. any thoughts?

I like how it is. You should keep attracting and catering to the new viewers because the fans will click through and find the new episodes but the newcomers are not yet hooked and need the first episode. Great stuff! I love it and can't wait for the next episode. -Matt

I would be cool if you guys actually did "Invasion" starring the dude from the series as the actor as a 30 minute short film companion to this.

That would be cool, but it's hard to make a bad movie good :) If Low Budget really picks up one day, we will definitely follow it up with another web series and maybe things like the full Invasion Q.

BTW, part 5 "German Acting Technique" is now up:
http://www.LowBudgetComedy.com

I just watched all 5 episodes and the thing is flat-out (flat-oat?) hilarious! The German "eye acting" segment is simply classic. Super job all around - writing, acting and editing in particular (and how much else that really matters is there?).

I think important people should (will) notice this and give you guys some dough to take it to the next level. If I were in a position to do so I would, and I *rarely* ever feel that way. Seriously...

And I agree that you should present the episodes as you have them - in sequential order. It plays beautifully that way, and will make the most sense to the viewer. I think it's good enough that most people will go ahead and watch them all anyway, just like I did.

Five stars for you :love4:
