This for sale is an Arri (Arriflex) 16 SB, with variable and stand speed (24 fps) motors (2), 400 ft magazine, right angle viewfinder adapter, and three lenses.
It's the camera I used most at NYU film school. It's a terrific hand held camera, originally designed for shooting war footage. Unlike the Bolex, it was considered a professional camera, with a registration pin and ruggedly built like a tank. There used to be a terrific site called arrisb.com and the operator was a user here on dvxuser but he's no longer around as far as I can tell.
Last serviced by the famous Axel Broda in 2007. IT'S READY TO RUMBLE! Asking $1400. Will post for $1500 on Ebay due to their fees.
Angenieux 10-150mm: excellent, almost mint condition. Arri B mount.
Angenieux 5.9mm wide angle: rare lens, excellent condition. Arri B mount.
Schneider 50mm Xenar: rough cosmetic condition. Still works but scratches on lens.
Right angle viewfinder adapter included.
Du-All 4.2Mah battery pack, recently purchased in Dec. 2011. Runs through at least 4x 400 ft magazines probably a lot more. Film cameras use power far more effectively than video cameras like the RED since it's just the mechanics that have to move along.
I will post a link to the eventual Ebay listing (if it does not sell here or on craigslist) which has more pictures. Dvxuser only allows 5.
