I'll helped a Photographer friend out by doing a Love Story for a couple that was getting married. So I put together this video. We froze our asses off!!

They called off the wedding shortly after the Love Story was Shot. So they will actually never see this video

DVX-100, Shot with "Spark". 60i. Audio Technica Lav Mic. Wannabe 16:9 crop job.

Why 60i just out of curiosity?

The EXT's seemed blown off the exposure charts; I know, I know white snow does not make your life easy.

The 'interviews' were nicely shot with great colors.

Nice job.

I knew I would be doing slow motion, so I didn't want to cut the frame rate down. Also we didn't have any lights, so interlaced was the best option for us.

Fair enough!

Though, after viewing hundreds of hours of 24p footage, cropped 60i just looks *weird* (I don't mean this footage specifically; just in general. I taped for about five minutes this weekend in F4 without realizing it, and the footage had a weird vibe to it).

I totally know what you mean. I have actually set all of my scene dials to different settings, all in 24p except one which is 30p.
