Hi,

I'm willing to spend a little on a loupe that can be fitted on the LCD of the GH3. Anyone have any experience with any of the options available?

I'm mostly using a Fig Rig or tripod with the GH3. Will a loupe that's mounted on the baseplate of the GH3 cause that you can not mount the GH3 on a rig / tripod anymore?
Thanks guys.

I use the CarrySpeed VF-4, which I detail in this thread:

And talk about mounting to a tripod/rig.

Thanks Grisnjam. Left you a comment on your video with some questions.

On ebay I also find loupes of around 35 dollars with a sticky frame. Would that work on a GH3? That seems to me like a cheap alternative + you still are able to turn the LCD screen outwards and upwards. Correct?

I guess it depends on the size of the frame.

I tend to recommend buying quality gear from the get go, which the CarrySpeed is. Varavon also make a GH3 loupe that can tilt:

It can block mic/hdmi ports though.

Just bought the Varavon from Personal View deals so will let you guys know what happens when it gets here in a few weeks from Korea.

Cool! Let me know how it is.
That one has my attention as well, as it is a must for me to be able to articulate the LCD and turn the screen upwards with the loupe mounted on it. I make a lot of shots from low angles :)
