Lost project file folder...

Hi everyone,

After a crash, I lost my project file folder but still have the media files. I have a backup of the project but the one that I lost has tons of changes. So, I'm hoping that I can restore the project file folder somehow. Since I save my project file folder somewhere other than the Avid folder in the system drive, there's nothing in there. I read somewhere that the Attic folder has copies of all the bins. Is it possible to re-open a project using what is in the Attic? If so, how can we do that? I tried to open it but it's not similar to the project file folder. Please help! Thanks!

The Attic folder is in your Avid program folder. Open it up, look for your project, then copy and paste it into the Avid Project folder and try to open it. Hopefully it will be more current then the backup was.

Thank you very much, krestofre! Problem solved by renaming the bin inside the Attic to .avb extention. Thanks again!
