Lost footage, damaged timecode! HELP!!!!

Ok, hopefully the exclamation points get me so feedback. Here's my problem. Recently I shot a concert as part of a multicam shoot. It was several hours long and I shot it all to two 32gb P2 cards at AVC-I 50. My camera was the rear center cam and the one with the audio line in from the mixing board. The footage had a lot of starts and stops as we did not record during the breaks between bands. After the show I gave my buddy my two cards so his team could download the footage and a couple of days later I got the cards back and ingested the footage myself in FCP. His team used a HVX200 as a card reader and just drag and drop copied the footage to their hard drive via firewire. Low and behold, a week or so later when they started ediiting I get a call about some missing footage and can I check if I have it. Upon investigation of my own footage I find that twice throughout the footage my TC is duplicated and large chunks I know I recorded are missing. The last clip which is just of the crowd after the show is TCd at the same time as the beginning of the last band. What happened? Is there a fix. The audio I captured was the clean track for the final production and now large chunks are missing. Please help. My buddy has a new business and I shot this for free because I wanted to help a friend build his empire, instead it seems my camera or something I did has given his business the ol' 1 2 to the groin. Thanks
