I had four Batteries - (all new) two came with the HVX and the other two were the DVX5000.
I charged the DVX5000 and used it today to test the HVX. As I was removing the battery I heard a sound that sounded like something was ripping. It turn out that the bottom of the battery has come apart. The DVX5000 seems to fit too tightly. I tried the two batteries that came with the HVX and they went in and out smoothly.
Is this the norm for the DVX5000? I'm not sure if I can fix the one that came apart but was wondering if I should sell the other New one and try and find one that would fit the HVX?
