DVX Community, please help. The airlines have lost my tripods and I'm only in Duluth Minnesota for two days to shoot a spot. If you are in the area and are willing to rent me your gear for Monday March 23 & Tuesday March 24 then please IM me. If you know some one with gear in Duluth then please IM me.

I know that this subgroup is for buying & selling but I didn't know where else to post this where many eyes would see it quickly. If you can suggest other forums/options then please let me know.

Thank you community!

My suggestion would be (if you are unable to rent something) to go to your local best buy or camera store and buy a consumer tripod similar to this one:

I've used a nearly identical one for over 20 years as a backup tripod, on jobs where I need something easy to transport. Just make sure it has a fluid head. I'm able to get smooth horizontal pans easily, diagonal ones are another story but it will get you there at very little expense. Weight capacity is 15 pounds, personally I would stay under 10.

Thank you for that help!

As it turned out the airlines found our baggage and we have our tripods for today's shoot. What an pleasant surprise!

Thanks again!
