I remember a NAT photographer telling a young naive camera prissy me " Don't be afraid to dent' drag, drop the camera, because important or great pictures never come when your ready, its the law of the quick draw" I think he went to far at the end but it stuck with me.
Yes, that would explain the crossfade at 4:18, right?
When you wrote that, at first I thought maybe you pointed the camera downward and swapped out mid-shoot (which is suicidal, IMO), but I think the camera would stop recording when you press the lens release button anyway.
wasn't there a dino puppet back in the 1990's that was popular on mtv or something? I vaguely remember, but for all I know it may have been you. How did you come up with the puppet idea?
Sad story even I really did enjoy your funny video =)
Last weekend I was doing video on a big Ironman Triathlon event, 6:30 in the morning watching the swimmers. Maybe 80 meters away there was a fireboat and during the short seconds I was swiching lenses, suddenly they did start spurting water with all its nozzles into the air but at our directions.....maaan. At once I turned around since water fog did hit us and all the other people around with cams started to scream. At home I saw several sensor spots on the clips, thankfully the cam is ok so far.....
Actaully I have had the character for a while. Someone handed me that puppet and I just started messing around, and that voice just popped out - then I started recording randomly mostly improvising realizing it's an easy one man sketch builder.
I was on Good Morning America in Times square with the Blue man Group talking to a 90 foot LCD head... done some fun bits:
Then I got bored and killed him off in some philisophical puppet leaves his controller to find the meaning of life scenario:
Trumpet Dies:
That one was all mostly GH2 shot and I did the most of the music too except for a few public domain pieces, but it is one of the least favorite as I think it was beyond to many peoples heads and of course kids didn't like seeing him get his head bashed in. Trumpet is really an adult based character not a kiddie thing but invariably kids watch as well. I have gotten many a complain from a parent.
Good to see in full 1080p for all the detail on rocks and leaves.
It's kind of like Prince's vault I have SOOOO much Trumpet footage that I never got around to editing or compressing and releasing.
