Loss of Hope - featuring Paul Kratka (F13th Part 3) - Feedback Welcome

Good shooting

all the way around good production value, acting ... everything really.

Best of luck with it.

Hey there,

I just watched this, and the trailer to the other film you have posted here also, very very nice. I especially liked the stillness and feeling of loss you created with your shots, you were able to simulate that very well without having to show too much. I thought visually this was very nice, and it kept my attention. Good editing and production values.

Regarding the sound mix, your narrator's voice is coming mainly from the left speaker, if you can get it centered that would be great. The actor has a nice voice with some good gentle lower end, if you center it that will come out more.

Good work!

Chris, appreciate the kind words. Working on the final cut and having audio mastered so that it comes from both speakers.

Very filmic look,I think that moving takes look more filmic than static ones but it depends on composition, this look i think 90 % filmic, some takes i think i would color correct to bring more blacks where scenes are gray/foggy but its really good footage, and yes his voice from left side only is weird and i thought that it was some bad convertion done by the hosting website.
I only missed some more acting ,it was just monologue and some memories like from family videotapes but with film look.

Working on the voice to be on both sides of the speakers when you watch it. So that will be in the final version. Also replaced some shots with some shots of soliders setting up a tent in Vietnam as well as a couple of other shots that will add to the atmosphere but still keeping the film at the same exact length it is in the version you saw.
