Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue that i feel like i'm not alone with: the footage, very especially the focus from 5D looks great on location monitor, then fcp's small viewer and then on say, vimeo's small screen. But when I get it to full screen a lot of the focus is noticably hazier. For example; here's some test stuff i shot for a short film I plan to shoot soon :
http://vimeo.com/23249792
watch it small scren once , then full screen it and you'll know what I mean.
Now I AM applying the widescreen filter on fcp and Magic bullet mojo. The footage was shot on a 24-70 on iso 400 pretty much throughout, the aperture around 11. How much these have to do with the problem. So what's the solution? How can I ensure before/as I'm shooting that when I expand it the focus will hold?
Sorry for bad english, sorry if this has been asked before.
