I'm looking to find some Los Angeles people in filmmaking to network with and learn from.
I’m new to the area and new to the industry. Don’t know anyone here in LA yet and just pushing forward by myself.
What I’m NOT looking for is a meet-up for everyone to have hotdogs, drinks, and nice conversations, rather more “filmmaking-activity being 1st”, individual, production-specific approach.
Perhaps you are in the area, well experienced and have your own production or project going: be it a music video, short, feature, etc. I’d like to learn and be of help. I have a day software developer job with flexible hours.
My industry training has been by self studying different books, videos, workshops recommended on here (cinematography, lighting, sound, directing, writing).
I have a Nikon D90 DSLR rig with Nikon primes, fluid head tripod, small dolly(straight track, capable of curved) and Steadicam.
Whether you are in similar situation as me or, preferably
