New to this, so forgive my potentially sounding like I don't know what I'm talking about.
My zoom ring is loose in a way that gives it about half a centimeter of no pressure when just starting to turn, especially when going from zooming in to zooming out quickly. In other words when I zoom, there's a quick, very noticeable jolt starting it off before whatever gears that pressure it catch and smooth it out.
This is crippling me big time as a concert videographer and experimental filmmaker. Is it fixable?
