Strange thing happened!
We've just finished filming a musicvideo using a DVX100 PAL and a Canon XM1 (Just for som behind the scenes).
After imoprting everything to our iMac we edited the first tests and the tried to export it to the camera again using FCP Pro (5.0).
Now the strange thing accours. We couldn't get any picture to the camera (none of them). Now both cameras (!?) have problems with playing the tape the first 30 minutes. Same thing on both cameras. I get no picture or timecode in the beginning of the tape, If i try to record again the camera works just like it should but no picture or code in the beginning. After 30 minutes it plays and records just fine. Somewhere in between 00 and 30 minutes the picture and code START to come back, but it's just like the timecode has gone away every no and then up until somewhere after 30 minutes.
And as i said the problem is the same on both cameras with different tapes JVC and Sony.
The tape is 60 minutes and not played as LP ...
