GH3 Loose lcd screen gh3

Hi. I played with my gh3 yesterday and i noticed that my lcd screen is loose when it is fully open. Have anybody ever had this problem? I talked to panasonic service and told me to send it to them, but i would like to make little research before i will send it. I am pretty sure that it was. Ot like this before.
 
I've recently noticed some play around the latch for the LCD on my GH3. Not sure if it was there when I first received the camera-I'll probably live with it unless it gets worst.
 
I am pretty sure mine was solid, it had to happen yesterday. I noticed that at least yesterday. I am sending it to panasonic for repair.
 
I noticed the same thing on on of my gh3's last month. Sent it in for repair, got it back 2 weeks later tightened up (not quite as good as brand new but a lot better) covered under warranty.
 
Hopefully it's gonna stay like this. I found on some forum that it happens with the first gh3 models. We will see because it was annoying to use with open screen. I am gonna send my tomorrow.
 
I just noticed this video in regards to this issue. Possibly a bit nerve-wracking, but it could save some time / hassle.

I have cracked my hinge also.... almost seems like a GH3 flaw design those hinges, they break as easily as you sneeze on them.
Anybody know what the repair cost is?
 
I just did the repair as the video by Thorpe shows. I am fairly handy and have taken complex things apart with success before, so the video gave me confidence that this is not a hard job. Indeed it only took me about a half hour, with half hour of prep: laying out the location for all the screws and keeping the sizes separate (there are five different sizes of screws). If you are handy and have good tools, print the pages of the manual that are pertinent as Thorpe says, and this repair is straight forward... Al
