Hey Forum Members,
I recently noticed that the lens hood/filter thread/manual focus ring housing on the front end of my DVX-100A shifts back-and-forth with some pressure. It's the piece that begins just in front of the zoom ring, which holds the actual manual focus ring and lens hood.
I noticed the fact that it moves back-and-forth while screwing and unscrewing filters. It only does this with some pressure, not on its own during normal use. Incidentally, my friend's 100A does the same. My camera is in mint condition with very little wear-and-tear.
Any thoughts? Had a hard time searching this situation in the forum..... :huh:
